Advantages: Can't really think of any other than if you like looking at the celebs photos!

Disadvantages: Pricey and can get repetitive page after page!

While away last weekend and being stuck in a Travelodge with a Television that only buzzed and whistled throughout all of the weekends TV programmes. I had to make a quick dash threw the rain across the car park to the service stations mini WH Smith shop. While browsing the mags I came across a bundle in a plastic bag 4 mags for £2.99!.

Well that is good value, but it contained OK magazine which I never buy due to 2 reasons.

1. Being that it is expensive at £2.60 a week ( thats over a tenner a month!)

2. It always seems to have the same old faces on the front of the cover, selling the same old stories ( well if you glance along the whole of the mags shelf you will see the same faces on all of them with Katie Price being the flavour of the week!)

So what do I do, give OK a chance as it has got 3 other mags with it or listen to the whistling tv!. So I grabbed it and dashed back through the rain again to go and enjoy my mags.

I was very anti OK and was determined that I was not going to enjoy this mag at all. With it's very glossy pages all 164 of them it started to attract me to flick through them. Before I knew it I was totally engrossed in it, with it's stories about the celebs in the jungle, Ashley Coles "Exclusive Interview", Cheryl Cole with her "Interview", Victoria Beckham not using fake tan anymore, Westlife "We'll sing with Brian again one day" ect......It wasn't the stories that caught my attention it was how many times I could count Katie Prices name in it.

It had started to creep in, the boredom that is as page after page it was just dribble about absolutely nothing that really didn't interest me. Don't get me wrong I love a bit of gossip about the celebs as much as the next person, but this just seemed uninteresting. With 5 pages on Katie Price, flicked through that quick only to find in the next interview with Sam Fox they are asking her questions about guess who ? ...yes Katie Price!!!. Next page interview with Peter Andre, the words Ex Wife and Katie appear again! flick along a few pages and an "Interview" with The Saturdays well what a surprise there she is again, being talked about in the Katie and Peter saga!!!!!

Dare I flick any further surely I would be safe now as I was almost halfway through the mag, but oh no "Interview" with Nicola McLean with the headlines " Go back to the kids Katie!" and "Interview with Gary Cockerill & Phil Turner headline reads " We're seeing the real Katie - it's no act!" sorry to go on, but it just goes on and on Katie Price modelling some clothes yet another "Interview" with Kenneth Tong & Karly Ashworth (Big Bro fame!) with the headlines "Katie & Pete living a lie" and this is on page 137. Page 144 is a problem page for you to write into and get advice from "Dear Jordan" but being that she isn't there she has been replaced by her friends Gary & Phill, with just to finish it off there is a picture of Katie and kids on the back page!

I don't dislike Katie Price I can take her or leave her, but to see her name on nearly every interview is just plain boring, apart from that, I like the format of the magazine. The way they set it out in asking questions and writing the replies down can be interesting rather than just long sentences. It covers a wide range of different Celebs with ex Wags, Bands, Soap Stars ect..... little snippets of gossip on the OK Hollywood Gossip page and with lots of fashion and beauty tips it doesn't make a bad read if it was totally different on each page instead of picking out a Celeb and running their name throughout the whole mag!.

This has the usual puzzle, Horoscopes and OK Health pages, with plenty of lovely colour photo's of celebs pictures especially on the OK Parties pages. With the back page having what a lot of mags have now and that is where a Celeb is asked several questions about their personal life.

This has it's few share of adverts, but all magazines seem to. It is a nice big glossy mag, but is one that I will not be buying again. This didn't work out to expensive as I said before it came with 3 other mags as well, with these being OK! USA, Star and New, so for £2.99 not to bad. So all in all I can only give this mag a 2 star rating!.

Summary: I wouldn't buy it again even on offer!
