Advantages: Was cheap this time round

Disadvantages: a load of rubbish gossip

I havent bought this magazine for so long as you can read celebrity gossip online for free nowadays. I was in Tesco and saw this advertised for £1 so I thought it would be good to have something to read over the Easter weekend.

The magazine looks sort of like an upmarket glossy, with a few celeb photoshoots in their own homes, usually if they have had a child or got a new partner. Its aimed at women and there are a lot of stories that are family based. For example in this edition Chantelle Houghton is having a small issue with her boyfriend Alex Reid and they have set up a photoshoot and interview.

There are also a few columns written by z listers like Kerry Katona. She gives her opinion on the celeb gossip of the week.

It will take you quite a while to get through if you are reading all the articles as there are 130 pages. There are a load of adverts though and it is easy to just look at all the pictures and figure out what is going on. Its usually a load of celebs being stalked by paparazzi and a story being made up about them.

A nice part of the magazine is the fashion section where there are large full page photos of the latest looks and they are usually from affordable stores.

They are also keen on the royals, Kate Middleton features heavily towards the beginning of the mag. It comes across like it is a sort of society magazine but there is still quite a chavvy underlying tone, with lots of z listers and featuring the same faces. All the stories are on the sun online so I dont think I will bother buying this again.

Summary: entertained me for a while
