i am 18 years old and have always been interested in fast nice looking cars! like most people my age it was a dream that i could never ever afford to fulfill and instead i have a standard nova.

Now i have been buying Max Power for quite a while and i enjoy looking at the cars, and ok yes the women arent bad either, but are they really neccessary?!?

I think that lately the magazine is getting more pictures of women than it is of cars, and no im not gay i just like cars and that is the main reason for the magazine. Also there is no age limit on the magazine so anybody can buy it and it does have some quite revealing pictures in! In that respect the pictures are probably not the poictures that parents want their children looking at#!

The magazine has some really good nice looking cars in and is layed out in an interesting way. Whenever there is a picture of a car there is always a specification of the car and a description of how the car ios modified. Some of the cars are outstanding but the centre of attention again seems to go onto the "sexy lady" standing next to the cra rather than the car.

I can understand that this is obviously a very good selling point of the magazines target audience (lads between 13 - 18) but i believe that it is turning away other potential readers eg women. At one time it was only really boy racers that did up their cars to make them look the bo***cks but within the last few years there have also been a lot of girls doing the same. I believe that perhaps these people would buy the magazine and would like to feature their cars oin the magazine but are deterred by the pictures of half naked women. Lets face it how would you feel if your girlfriend was staring at other girls in car magazines?!?

I think that it is about time that Max Power went back to featuring what the magazine was made for instead of turning it into pervy magazine!!
