Scarlet Magazine ... first saw scarlet in my local newsagents and I thought it looked like a change from the usual run of the mill fashion 10 ways to starve yourself to fit into that LBD that I seemed to have for some reason bought in the past. It was, it was a real eye opener, I never knew such a magazine even existed! It features things that you certainly wouldn t find in Glamour or Vogue,reviews of everything from sex toys to the latest album releases,travellers guides. Closer Magazine ... life stories, diets and TV. I have been buying closer for about 2 years now but I am going to base this review on the current issue because I can be specific about the magazine which does always seem to follow the same formula. Closer is on sale every Tuesday and its cover is a magenta pink and has what I would call a very "negative" cover. This week we are told "Jordan snogs another man - Pete s in bits", "Kerry s Too Ill to Cope with her Kids", "Girls Aloud at War" and the only nod to reality with a nod to an "Incest Love Triangle". Closer Magazine ... the celebrity gossip! Well I don t have too much gossip in my own life lol so at least I can read about everyone else s! This weeks issue sees Kerry Catona hitting the headlines,I missed the television interview on `This Morning` so at least I will know what everyone is talking about when I read it! I might well be a bit past of the latest High Street fashions,but I still like to look at them.The killer heels ,the in season colours,and who wore what best! The Diet pages..well at that point I move forward swiftly,half a sardine and a radish is not for me.
