Our Baby

We started to by Our Baby when we were pregnant with our first daughter who is now 18 months old. Unfortunately, it's been discontinued, or at least I think it has as I haven't been able to find a new copy of it for the past 6 months or more, which is a real shame. Unlike many other pregnancy magazines, this one had a section for dads too!! Too many pregnancy magazines are directed at women - they seem to forget that dads play an important part too. There were the usual catergories - items tested, your letters, problem pages etc, but there was a handy section on baby's health and your health too, which you could cut out and keep for future ...

I started reading Our Baby when my son was very young. It always has informed, reliable information on different - and current - topics. I liked the fact that it also sought the opinions of mothers throughout the country and used them to test different items. Every issue also has a basic list of the 'usual' things - useful phone numbers, different stages of pregnancy etc so whichever copy you pick up, you can find information and don't need to be sorting through back copies. There were lots of competitions and even I, who never wins a thing, won something! I also had a letter published and got £200 to spend at Blooming Marvelous! ...
