Papercraft Inspirations Magazine is for people who enjoy the hobby of Papercrafting, Mostly for Cardmakers and Scrapbookers. This Magazine is Uk made and Jenny Dixon is the Editor of this Mag.
The Papercrafts Inspirations Magazine I am going to review is Issue 27, Nov 2006, This magazine is priced at £3.35.
This Months Magazine includes the free gift of a mini Mag including 30 Quick and easy Christmas Cards. Past free gifts have included: border stamps, ribbons, fabric flowers. Next Months Magazine will include a Christmas embossing stencil. All gifts I have received have been very handy in my craft stash. I am not too keen on the mini mags, would prefer more craft products instead.
Here is a few things you will find in Papercrafts to give you an idea of what you can expect in future issues:
Whats New- This page gives you a look at the latest products you can buy. Zoe Beer helps by giving personal reviews of the products and also where you can buy the products from. Some can be easier to find the others, online users can normally get hold of these products with no trouble.
Dear Jenny - These pages are members letters, I really enjoy reading these pages as you can find out what other crafters have been up to. Also every letter printed gets a paper stack worth £5 plus the Star letter gets £50 of craft products. I have never sent a letter, always mean to but never got round to it, something to add to my to-do list.
Make a Christmas Card Competition- You can win a selection of Paperceller goodies by entering this great competition, all you need to do is make a card and send it on in. Papercrafts has regular competitions in there magazines. I haven't won anything yet but keeping my fingers crossed.
Free Papers- In the centre of the Magazine you get a selection of backing papers to use on your cards, you can use these or download them from the website. The pages always has a theme this month its Autumn.
Free Templates - You will find a selection of template to use or you can download ones from the website. The templates are from card or scrapbook ideas throughout the magazine.
Handbag and Shoes collection - These are several ideas on how you can use handbag/shoe stickers/stampers on craft products. I tried out the tag design which was very easy to follow and I also came up with a few of my own ideas. These projects just give you new ideas and challenges to try out. I always suffer from mental block and this mag always helps give me a boost.
5 ways to use Micro beads - This is something new to me so found this very useful as always looking for new ideas to try out.
Designer Challenge - This is a challenge, each month they send 4 designers an identical pack of items to see what they can come up with. Its Great to see the finished products and helps give you need ideas to try out.
Patchwork Designs- A Selection of cards make with Patch work effects, helps get rid of the mental block we can sometime gets. I tried out this effect and it really does look effective.
Doodling Master Class- This is great fun I am always doodling on paper and didn't think to try it out on cards or scrapbooks, I am going to try it out on several cards tomorrow to see what I can come up with.
Quick and Easy Cards - Pull out which includes 20 quick and easy cards with step by step instructions, very easy to follow and gives you lots of new ideas.
Other Interesting things you will find in Papercrafts inspirations include:

You will also find several adverts for shops. Websites throughout the magazine, I feel this mag has just the right amount as not too over crowd us with too much advertising but gives us enough to be able to shop, shop, shop.
I buy lots of Magazines a month on the theme of card making and scrapbooking but this is my favourite because the magazine is always inviting with plenty of new ideas to try out and helpful tips to get you crating more often. The magazine is very colourful and cheerful which makes me want to read it. This mag has a lot about the readers themselves which gives that extra special touch as you feel you can connect to them. The layout of the magazine is simple to follow, if you get the magazine on a regular basis you will find sections in a similiar place each month.
I subscribe to this Magazine and have done since issue number 6, current issue is Number 27. I Pay for my subscription by direct debit £8.00 is taken from my account every 3 months, that works out at £2.66 approx per Mag. I have never had a problem with my subscription, always arrives 3-4 days before you see the magazine on the open market. When you sign up you normally get some sort of offer, I got a craft selection pack, this months offer is a Glitter and Bead Pack.
