As you know, from time to time, we all run into a few problems with our computers, be it hardware or software related, and most of the time we just can?t find the answers to the problem. During these times you would literally kill to have that bit of advice from the experts, a few tips to point you in the right direction and someone to get your computer back on the road, but all too often you are sat there fiddling about, getting nowhere and failing to solve your problem, pulling your hair out and cursing away wanting to smash you useless machine to bits. There are countless magazines currently floating around that specialize on giving you a helping hand, ... Read the complete review

This is my all time favourite computer magazine. I look forward to it coming through my letter box every month and get a sense of excitement when I see it has arived. In plain english, this mag. manages to cram so much information into it's average sized magazine. Very few dreaded adverts afford more space for the good stuff. You get a very good CD each month with lots of useful full products on it and precise instructions on how to use them. You will read about all the latest gadgets and good places to go on the net., nothing new there then. Then the exciting bits unfold. You learn stuff, how to upgrade your PC in easy to follow steps. This is a lifesaver of a magazine. It costs £4.99 and comes with a CD, and is packed with trouble shooting guides. I am not a computer whizz, and much of the magazine is a bit over my head, however it has paid for itself in helping me out of a recent crisis. Reading through readers letters and articles I found exactly what I was looking for to sort out a recent problem which had been caused by Mcaffee Office 2000. I was just at the point of calling out a computer engineer. I intend buying this magazine monthly to build up a library which hopefully will bail me out of my next crisis ... Read the complete review

Want to read a computer mag that is genuinely helpful, full of useful advice and not just for the beginner, not overrun by pages and pages of adverts? Well, this could just be a magazine which breathes fresh air on the stale shelves of WHSmith. ~~Who's the magazine for? 1. People who know a little about computers but need more indepth advice on software matters. For instance, you will find in-depth features, usually over several issues, about a particular type of common software (Paint Shop Pro, Microsoft products etc.) with step-by-step illustrations on how to use it's most useful features. We're not talking how to print or save or other basic ... Read the complete review

I buy Computer magazine regulary. PC Answers is one of thoses which I now buy every month or at the very least borrow each copy every month. The main reason for buying PC answers is that this magazine is actually filled with *usefull* information on computer hardware, its explained in plain English. I do know my computer Jargon, being in the bussiness, but i still like to read things in normal language. PC Answers is not full of adverts and every page is used to maximum potential. This makes the magazine smaller than some others and it makes the price higher than some others, but this one is worth it. I reccomend this magazine to people who are ... Read the complete review
