This has to be the best PC Games magazine I have ever bought, and believe me I have bought a few!

The reviews are generally fairly accurate, the writing is great, (you don't get to be Britains best-selling games mag for nothing!!)

Keiron Gillen was (reviews editor) recently received The PCT New Journalist of the year award, up against writers from NME, Melody Maker, and New Scientist Magazines.

So that is two of the best things in Britain that they have got, and they give away a DVD or CD games compilation every week. What more do you want?

The reviews for good games are generally good, and the ones for bad games are generally very funny.

The first look section gives an indepth look at games to be realeased, with great screenshots and info about the game developer. It gives you a good idea of what game will be like.

The previews and latest on sections are well written, fair and generally give you all the news on soon to be released titles.

Eyewitness gives you all the latest on gaming related issues, whether it be on-line gaming, isp's or general news and is informative and up to date on what is going on.

Throughout the mag you will find the goobbets column, which has little snippets about a wide range of games, software and developers. There is a hardware news section which is pretty much just that, news about the latest hardware. They have great competitions and give away some really great prizes.

The netware pages have some really useful info if you enjoy playing games on-line, or even if you are just thinking about it

There is a readers onpinions type section called the server. The letters that are published are usually well written and fairly useful, the inshort column contains some fairly bizarre and normally quite funny e-mails, and the uncensored pages have readers own reviews of old and new games.

Foul play is quite good too, it has a lot of cheats
listed and can be quite useful.

All this combined with around 40 demos on the cd version and around 100 on the dvd, most of the latest mods, patches for games, and some useful utilities too, makes this mag invaluable for any gamer.
