Advantages: good reviews and news, lots of depth, useful online section

Disadvantages: £5 quid a little steep perhaps

PC Gamer says it is the best selling PC games magazine out there and with good reason. Its full of content basically. It has lots of games news, ranging from the big scoops, to the small bits of info that you can just stick in a corner. A particular favourite feature is their in depth news of the various game genres.

The reviews are also full of depth. Lots of pictures and mentions of all aspects of the game. It even tells you how the game will play on different computers.

A relatively new feature is the large Online section which has particular emphasis on game mods. This is very useful as it takes a good look into something that nowadays os very important for the average gamer.

The magazine also tries to get the reader more involved with news sections, reader opinions and picture submissions.

Presentation is good without being anything special but it really does have all you really need if you are games fan.
