PC Home ….. Yet another PC magazine review for you. The question though, … is it just another PC mag or is it a one of a kind? Here’s my opinion on PC Home, which should answer the above questions. Anyway, here’s a quick rundown of the mag’s regular features, which will hopefully give you a taste of what the mag’s like. Here we go again…. <<<>>> Homework <<<>>> A novel title for a feature that’s designed to help you get more out of your computer. It’s supposed to be aimed at all PC users, be they business users, home users or any other user. Basically they ... Read the complete review

I have the PC Home magazine delivered monthly to my home, which makes it slightly cheaper, but otherwise, although this is a quality magazine, it is quite expensive at £4.99. PC Home covers all aspects of using a PC. This month, for example, there was an article on buying and installing a CD Rewriter as well as the usual reviews on games and top tips for PC users. The magazine is very well laid out and incorporates information at various levels, from the complete novice to someone who is competent on a PC. "AT Home with your PC" is sent to you every month, and the different sections are to be put into a binder which comes with the pull out sheets. There is also a different CD disk every month. This covers things like learning French, Home Designer,Music Ace, Money Matters, Garden designer and such like. The sections you receive assume very little previous knowledge, and take you stage by stage through the process of setting it up.The only thing that I find slightly annoying is it does mention Microsoft Works a lot, which I do not have. I have used it for reference several times, for when something I cannot work out has happened on the computer ... Read the complete review

As the title suggests this is a computing magazine. It contains no end of computing tips and hints and every edition it does reviews on hardware and software. In all of the time from when I first opted for a regular subscription, I have never known an issue that didn't contain something unusual or useful. Every issue there is a section on games. I think that this is the best part of the magazine because it gives you chance to find out about the game without having to go and make a costly mistake. Their unbiased views are always welcome. ...
