Advantages: Tutorials in C++, Delphi, Java, VB + £1000+ of software on CD each month!

Disadvantages: Aimed almost exclusively at programmers

I have been reading PC Plus for a number of years. What first got my attention was the CD that came with the magazine. Every issue claims to carry over £1,000 worth of really useful software!!!

Having been interested in programming, but not having enough money to buy any serious programming tools, I was delighted when I saw PC Plus were giving away Borland Delphi free!

Borland have now given away up to version 4 and have also started giving away Borland C++ Builder. The other great thing about PC Plus is the outstanding tutorials on all the programming utilities is gives away. The Delphi and C++ tutorials have been running for several years now and I am still learning new things from them.
