PC Plus is one of the many great magazine titles from Future Publishing. The magazine has some great Tutorials on a range of subjects mostly to do with programming (C, C++, Perl, Delphi, Web Design etc) which are very very useful and helped me pick up a few techniques when I was starting out in web design. I buy this magazine quite regularly. To be honest I just find the mag itself alright - what really leads me to view this as excellent is the cover CD/DVD. Around 90% of programs on my computer are full programs which have been given away on the cover of this mag. In the latest mag I have got a program which is of so much use in my ... In the past I had always gone for PC Format for my monthly computing fix, but ended up getting fed up with the lack of interesting material - after all, I can't afford to be buying the latest games all the time. I also prefer not to be patronised when it comes to new technology, so a number of other computer magazines are completely ... Read the complete review

One thing that stops me from buying this magazine is the fact that is has a cover dvd/cd on each edition, and this bumps the prise up to £6/£5. I usually don`t want the stuff on the dvd/cd, and they usually spend there life in my desk drawer. Please PC Plus, you have a great magazine, with some great features and reviews.. but ... The magazine has a lot of information and a lot of different sections. Apart from concentrating on the Windows operating system like most computer magazines it looks at ones like BEOS, Linux and Amiga. This magazine is packed with reviews of hardware and software. Another unusual thing about this computer magazine is that it gets into ... Read the complete review

For the last few months, PC Plus has come in two varieties - the two CD-ROM version, and the other (slightly more expensive) DVD version. Not the cheapest magazine in the world to begin with, it is now probably the most expensive computer magazine on the newstand. Is it worth it? For me, the answer is yes, and to that end I have ...
