I am now a proud subscriber to this mag, and not only do you get discounts for becoming one, you get 2 FREE CDs as well (albeit rubbish ones) - and Extended Play 2 CD, and a cheap 10-year old game. Their Extended Play CD contains updates to loads of addons to your favourite games, such as Unreal Tournament and Quake 3. Formerly being the UK's best selling magazine, it has now lost that prestigious title, although I don't know what people are buying instead. This mag covers everything! There are top notch reviews which are then judged by everyone and not just the reviewer and asks for their opinion. You may notice however, that the ratings they give games may be slightly lower than other mags like PC Gamer, but it's because they now follow a more strict line of rating games and don't want to keep giving game 99.9% and not allowing much room for another game to improve on. Their online section contains reviews just like in their review section but aims at new online mods or multiplayer-only games and keep on rating every update of them each month. PC Zone also covers the technical side of computers, reviewing new 3D cards when they come along, and has a monthly section called "Dear Wandy" where people can write in about any technical problems they may have, and also a Watchdog section to deal with annoying retailers that won't solve consumers' problems by themselves.
