Pull up in the car ... furtive look around ... no one there ... slip out and lock the door ... sidle up to the newsagents ... damn there's a woman inside and she's got kids ... poke about in the chocolate bars for a while until she's gone ... success at last, we're all alone the shopkeeper and me and he's a man!!! Oh no, his young teenage female assistant has come out with the tea ... bugger! Just buy a Mars Bar and have done with it!!! Sound familiar? No, well there are only two sorts of men - those who read pornography and those who are liars ... oh yes, and Mrs dave27 says there is me as well, totally asexual and more interested in "messing about on the PC at all hours". Penthouse is one of those very typical girlie magazines which revels in the open leg shot and rudey crude letters about things that are never likely to happen in real life (unless you're Mrs dave27 that is, on the day the gardener, Pervy Pete, comes round in his leather jockstrap - what's that, he's just keeping cool, yeah yeah yeah...) It purports to feature other leisure features and includes some articles as well but you know those are only to keep things that tad respectable - mags like Penthouse should be firmly filed in the Do It Yourself section and come free with toilet paper, because they are just soft core porn and designed to respond to our basest instinct. Now there's nothing inherently wrong about that and Penthouse does fulfil a valid public service (a bit like rat catching) and there are far worse examples around which should be treated a bit more scornfully, but I wish the makers would be a bit more honest about things, because all they're after is some sad gits who want to play with themselves of an evening and to pretend anything else is very deceitful. Penthouse is the work of the porn king Paul Raymond and had little to commend it apart from pages which don't stick tog
First off, sorry about the bad pun. I'm not sure if Penthouse publishes a different version of their magazine in the UK. If so, this review may not make a lot of sense. In the US, Penthouse magazine has started pushing legal boundaries in its pictorials. If you folks get the same magazine over there that we get over here, you'll get to see lots of naked women peeing all over everything! It had been some years since I had looked at a porno magazine. I can't remember what it was that brought me over to looking through a recent issue of Penthouse... let's just say "something came up", and there was a copy laying around at a friend's house. I guess I must have missed out on something rather remarkable having taken place in the last few years... because this was certainly not the Penthouse I remember! I was bewildered to see pictorials featuring acts that I didn't think a mainstream magazine could possibly get away with. I had never seen anything like what I was viewing in that issue of Penthouse in any other "over-the-counter" sex-rag.... not even HUSTLER. (of course, upon recent discovery, Hustler has made these same "revisions" to their format.) Penthouse used to be a slightly more explicit Playboy clone with lots of soft-focus photos of women in their birthday suits. Now it features pictorials of genetalia penetrating genetalia, and lots of gals peeing all over the place. It's obvious that Guccione was feeling Larry Flynt's heat, and decided if you can't "lick 'em, join 'em" (sorry, couldn't resist...tee heee) I'm not one to complain about this sort of thing, because very little shocks me, and I appreciate the artwork that is the nude female form... but I'm just astonished to see the extremity of fetishism now displayed in Penthouse. Was there some court case I missed out on? Who hired the whiz-kid lawyer that made it
possible for Penthouse to show this kind of stuff? My enquiring mind wants to know! When did all these big changes take place? I applaud Guccione's legal staff, whoever they are! I don't make a great deal of porn purchases, so I'm not even going to recommend buying this magazine to anyone... I did feel like I should share this information just in case there are casual buyers of Penthouse that would NOT like to see women pee all over everything. I'm sure a lot of people don't dig that sort of thing. If you are just a lonely guy wanting to relieve some frustration with an old favorite, Penthouse is still one of the better choices, but if you're looking to "read the articles" I'd go with Playboy or even Hustler (who actually has some great cutting edge journalism BELIEVE IT OR NOT!) If you are under the age of 18 you should not be looking at this review or Penthouse magazine. SHAME ON YOU! This is certainly not my father's Penthouse.
Penthouse is yet another mens magazine, that mainly focuses it's content on the naked bodies of the female species. And i am certainly not going to complain about it. I have not read or looked at this magazine for a couple of years (honest), but the majority of the pictures are artistically taken,if thats possible. It does have some good motoring features, and regular jokes and cartoons. However my favourite part of such magazines is reading the readers writes section and reading their stories and fantasies. But as everyone knows the main reason for these magazines is the solo satisfaction of men if you know what i mean!
