Horse and Hound - Magazine ... hardly read Horse & Hound Magazine. It s seems to be more aimed at the Aristocrat generation of the world. The Magazine is very opinionated an I do not find it coming across freindly at all. Compared the likes of Your Horse, where you can pick up all sorts of tips and hints. The magazine is user freindly for all walks of life who ride. Horse & Hound just doesn t have anything quite intesting to read half the time. Yeah it has all th results in but, I just get bored with the groveling patronising blurb really. My other horse mags are interesting, bright, colouful have loads of great things to look at like new products and they cover all aspects of horemansh... Horse and Hound - Magazine ... and Hound magazine is my least favourite of all the equestrian magazines. I find it very patronising and doesn t have enough articles in it that the everyday rider can relate to. It comes out every week and is quite expensive and really mounts up if you want to read every issue. It has news on what is going on in the equestrian world in each discipline including hunting, eventing, dressage and racing. All of these articles are in my opinion too in-depth for someone who isn t involved and I find when I read it I only read the show jumping page if I read all of that. Horse and Rider Magazine ... and Rider is my favourite equestrian magazine. Having been around horses and riding for 12years I have always found magazines helpful. Since discovering Horse and Rider I have found many useful articles helping with the day to day care of my horses, schooling techniques and even understanding the natural instincts of the horse. All articles are written clearly and most of the schooling pages have pull out cards you can take with you to the yard for help. The classifed section at the back is brilliant to, as with each section it gives you handy hints such as towing a trailer or buying an equestrian property and even help on confirmation faults to look for when buying...
