Pick Me Up is a weekly Women's magazine that's published every Thursday. It costs the princely sum of 68p (although we pay the rip-off price of Euro2) and is the same vein of magazine as Take A Break, Chat, That's Life et al. It's published by IPC Media and you can visit the website at http://www.pickmeupmagazine.co.uk/. The front cover is incredibly eye-catching and the headlines for the stories are all there for the shock-factor and aren't necessarily what they seem once you get to the story itself. Pick Me Up's tag-line is "Real life has never been this good!" On opening the magazine the first page tells us what's in this weeks issue as ... Read the complete review

Pick Me Up is a magazine whose tagline is 'More real life for your money' and at just 68p per week for a 67 page magazine (on average) it really is fantastic value with you paying around 1p per page. The magazine contains real life stories, fashion for high street prices, competitions, puzzles, photographs sent in etc. There are always many stories to read in the magazine and some of them are very random such as 'My baby's birthmark burst' and 'Arrested because I won £30k on the lottery' and there is usually at least one story that has been covered in the press or newspaper over recent months and this weeks story is 'killed at the checkout' where a ... 'Pick Me Up' is a magazine full of real life stories. A new copy comes out every Thursday and it costs 68p. Pick Me Up has many stories in that have been sent in by readers. The story lengths vary which is very convenient so you can read them in between doing things. Some of the other sections in the magazine are: That's good to know This page is full of people's tips and ideas the tips vary from how to remove stains to how to keep fruit ripe longer. To be honest most of the tips are quite obvious and pointless but every now and then there is a good one that I will use. Could you love me? This is just small section which each ... My daughters often buy magazines & I usually have a good read in the bath which helps me unwind after a long hard day. They tend to go for ones which focus on celebs which are fairly interesting but predictable as the stories are usually heavily publicised on TV adverts. The magazine I read last night is 'Pick Me Up', dated 16th October and cost which cost 68p. It has 68 pages & is has some weird & wonderful 'real-life' stories such as ''I ate 75 mars bars to save my tiny twin', 'a dog ate my nose', 'my smelly elvis made us famous' etc - a real change from my usual reading matter! There aren't too many adverts, ... Read the complete review
