Advantages: Ok if you are bored

Disadvantages: Stories aren't all british, over exagaratted headlines, can be too trashy

Pick Me Up is a magazine i read on occasion on my lunch break at work but it isn't one of my favourites. It is on sale in most shops for 68p.

The front cover always has really good headlines and makes me want to read it but when you get to a lot of the stories they tend to be overly exaggerated and most of the stories told are very trashy, they also have a lot of American stories in it which puts me off, i want to hear about British real life!

It also has Jeremy Kyle as the agony uncle, he writes exactly how he talks, its as if someone reads him the letter then records what he says and i find this off putting.

Its not a bad magazine to buy when it is on sale for 40p which it is quite often but i only buy it if i cannot get a better magazine, if you like real life magazine they are a lot better buys out there.
