Playnation magazine is another one of the magazines in the mid sort of range of magazines, and in the mid range of pricing. All the current the current News, Previews and reviews for all the current consoles, it real does provide for a massive, wide range of games players. There are such a range that all types of consoles are covered. As nearly all games are relatively expensive some costing as much as £45, it’s good to be able to check whether they are actually any good and worth buying. Magazines provide games players with in depth insights into games, with pics etc. sometimes well before the game has been released. It’s an ... Read the complete review

This mag is a new one. It has only one issue at the minute, the second one is due out on Thursday (4th Oct) Everyone buy it!! This magazine is great. The first issue came with a free t shirt, aswell as a £5 off voucher for a game, more than meriting its £2.99 asking price. Inside, there was a huge preview of WWF Smackdown 3, with exclusive pics, aswell as lots of info on all the future games on PS2. In my opinion the reviews were all accurate, fair and funny. All in all, a great first effort from PlayNation, lets hope they can keep up this high standard. ... Read the complete review

I really can't understand why no body has made an opinon on this magazine! PlayNation is one of my Regular Magazines that I actually go out to buy especially, I mean magazines like PS Pro are the kind you buy by chance, you know incase there is something like a preview you would like to read. Play Nation has a user friendly layout which doesn't have a reader scrambbling from paragraph to paragraph in order to find the information they want. There are also plenty of screen shots to keep even the most unpatient reader busy. Like most Magazines for playstation there are also letter pages, previews, reviews, Playtests, and help for players who find ... Read the complete review

Bristol Evening Post
The Evening Post often lends its weight to local causes, has a carefully targeted distribution policy that sees each reader getting the news most relevant to them, whilst still covering the news at a national level, and runs regular supplements.
The paper can be a little over-dramatic, and is apt to go beyond providing the news by suggesting what the reader should think of it too. It also had the carelessness to let Jeremy Smith go wandering off to pastures new – a tragedy!
