Practical in more ways than one... (Practical Parenting)
Advantages: packed full of great articles Disadvantages: none
What a brilliant read, I started reading practical parenting when I first became a nanny 10 years ago and still read it today. It has been invaluable to me over the years and always has a great selection of articles, and the true life interviews are second to none! I found their pregnancy and birth section especially good when I was pregnant as it includes what maternity pay or benefits you are entitled to and lists what you should give your employer as far as letters and information are concerned.I also felt it gave me a better insight into what I could exspect at the birth than any other magazine on the market and it also gives a range of options when considering the type of birth you want. Now I have a child of my own it has helped me through sleep problems and those dreaded but inevitable tantrums! It has it's own little T.V slot on Living between the kiddie shows (7am-9am) which is also full of great advice. It also has the added bonus of free gifts every week from books for you and the kids to toys and clothes.Heres to another 10 glorious years Summary: |
