Advantages: Keeps your brain active.

Disadvantages: Some are difficult

Sometimes when i have finished a hard, long day at work, i need to do something on a night to stimulate my mind. Usually i read or knit, but last week i had nothing like that to hand. So i was searching around for an old magazine when i came across a crossword book.

I was amused all evening long doing crosswords. Some of them were just for fun, but others had big cash prizes. Some of them up to £5,000.

I am now hooked, if i see a news paper or a magazine i have to do them. I also descovered the Arrowword, these are like crosswords.

There are many different books you can buy that are full of crosswords and other puzzles. For example: Puzzles galore, Arrows and Take a crossword.

You can even subscribe to most of these books, and that saves money.

So forget this Brain training on the computer, just do a crossword, it will keep your brain active, and if you are anything like me, if you dont no the answer. You will find it.

Summary: Give it a go, dont no you dont like it till you tried it.
