Advantages: Only £2.00 per issue delivered, plenty of prizes up for grabs, not too difficult to complete

Disadvantages: Big time "waster" if prizes are not coming my way.

Well, prizes galore there may be, but none of them have come my way, even after two years of subscribing, and yes, I do finish the puzzles and get them posted before the closing date.

At £24.00 a year, this monthly magazine costs £2 per issue, which is not bad value at all considering that is the "dropped on your doorstep" price. The puzzles inside are varied, ranging from crosswords, to wordsearches, missing words, spot the difference, etc., but in my opinion they are pretty repetitious, as though the same few people are setting all the questions, i.e. the same answers come up time and time again. Difficulty rating is probably 4 out of 10, with 10 being excrutiatingly difficult.

I very much enjoyed this magazine for the first, say, year of my subscription but now I find I have less time to complete the puzzles, and do not find them as interesting or compelling as I once did.

If you're a puzzle/crossword addict, or simply have plenty of spare time on your hands, then by all means treat yourself to a year and you might even win a prize for your efforts.
