On our recent caravan holiday Claire and I developed a passion for crosswords, and Puzzle Compendium was the source of this. This mag is basically a mixture of puzzles such as crosswords and wordsearches. It is printed on crass, cheap paper which gives it the feel of an old child's colouring book, and that annoys me. The amount of puzzles it contains means you're going to be using it for some time, so why print it like a throwaway item? The puzzles themselves are a good level of difficulty. ***Background*** This monthly puzzle book is part of the Puzzler group who also provide us with a selection of other mixed puzzle books as well as books with the same types in such as all crosswords or all Word Searches.
