Quick and Easy Cross-Stitch is one of the most successful cross stitch magazines on the market. I used to have a subscription, but I now feel that there are better cross stitch magazines on the market. QECS is not a bad magazine, it is full of lots of designs, it often comes with a free gift and there are plenty of competitions inside the magazine. The designs are (obviously) all supposed to be quick and easy so this is an ideal magazine for beginners or those who don't want to be stuck on one project for an eternity. QECS is a good magazine if you enjoy making cards and gifts, but I just find most of the designs are too 'cutesy' and not very sophisticated. The celebrity chart of the month is also utterly hideous. This is a good magazine for beginners, but I prefer Cross Stitch Crazy which has a more varied selection of designs.
