Advantages: Well layed out listings, great movie section & some other interesting articles.

Disadvantages: A bit pricey.

I still regularly read the Radio Times, although I must admit it isn't as good as it used to be. The listings are great and serve their purpose well, but some of the other articles don't seem to be as interesting as they used to be.

One section I will give credit to though it the film guide, which is around 10 pages long and covers all the terrestrial (and the best of the satellite) movies of the week, and also the latest cinema and rental releases. There is also a regular article from Barry Norman, which is normally quite a good read.

The 'Soap and Flannel' page is fairly amusing, as it clearly doesn't take itself too seriously when describing the weeks events in all the major soaps. I also make a point of reading the letters page, as there is usually something there which I can relate to.

Overall, the Radio Times is a good magazine, but if you only want the latest TV schedule, it is probably better just to buy a weekend newspaper. If you are interested in television though, this is the best listings magazine you can get.
