I think that the radio times is the best choice for the wekly TV listings magazine... and at only 79p still easily affordable. The blend of gloss and content give it the edge on newspaper pull-outs... and the TV times is far too comercialised. The covers are always innovative and give you some insight into the best programmes on that week... there are extensive reviews of movies, documentaries and soaps, with all the info you may need, in an easily accesable layout.

It remains impartial between the channels, though I have always linked it to the BBC, and the fact that it is the only product that the BBC endorses on air shows where some loyalties lie. Very few adverts is good!

Our subscription has lasted 7 years now, and when the magazine man failed to deliver it last week... we noticed!
