Advantages: Can be bought for 60p instead of 99p when on special offer, glossy, good tips!

Disadvantages: Same old faces and NO TV GUIDE!!

Now I'm writing this review starting with a moan, as I stopped buying mags some months back as I felt that they were an essential thing that I didn't need to buy as the money mounted up each week. Well as I have mentioned before I now have a small part-time job, so I thought I would treat myself to a mag. As usual when moneys a bit on the tight side everything is expensive, so I was surprised to see that Reveal was on sale for just 60p ( sod's law I suppose as I could now afford the full price!). I purchased this particular mag as this was one that I used to buy along with Closer.

Getting it home and later that evening I decided to flick through the mag to see what would be on telly next week when I do THERES NO TV GUIDE!!!, I'm sure there used to be one in the back. This was one of the reasons I got this mag.

It does contain 6 pages that are called 7 days, which contain "This weeks TV highlights", which gives you a small bit of information about new programmes that are starting, a whole page on Eastenders about who's going and who's coming back, 2 pages about the cast of Glee and 2 pages about whats happening in the soaps next.

Going to the front a bit disappointed with there being no guide, I then see that Jordan still has control of the front pages as I quoted before in one of my other reviews ( OK Magazine) this time with new man Alex Reid ( is that girl ever happy!).

Then of course it wouldn't be a mag if it didn't have a bit on Posh ( another miserable cow!) all that money and still not happy.

Kerry Katona's ex slagging her off, don't any of them think about their children, we all know she's a bit crazy and they have the nerve to say he wasn't paid for the interview ( thinks about your kids Brian! they can read!).

Further on into the mag Cheryl's divorce demands, then the pages that I like best, the celebs that let go of the diets and have become human again, although I was a bit suprised about Mariah Carey putting on 4 stone.

Then the woman who nearly killed her boyfriend with her ample 40LL breasts ( they nearly suffocated him!), whos' dating who and a health update. I see that Vanessa Felz has a problem page, I'll say no more on that!.

Now I'm getting over my initial disappointment of no TV guide I am quite enjoying the rest of the mag, it has some good tips on different make-ups, great fashion pages with whats in what shops at the moment and some lovely salad dishes to prepare. One of my favourite pages is the last page which is called "Revealations" and this has a celeb talking about the different things in their life that they either hate or love and this one has the lovely John Partridge (Christian) in Eastenders.

I also discovered that I have 4 more vouchers to be able to purchase this mag for a further 60p each time I use one.
So all in all it is a very glossy informative mag, but I do wish that they would change the people that the keep putting in the mags as there must be some more interesting ones out there. As I said at the start I haven't bought a mag for some time and it was a bit like being in a time warp as the same old faces are still doing the rounds!.

I will give this 4 Dooyoo stars as it would get 5 if it had a TV guide, I know that it has 98 pages, but a couple more wouldn't go a miss!

Summary: I did enjoy this mag and joking apart about the tv guide it does have a lot to offer
