Rugby World: ... information, results, and much more...pretty much everything anyone would want to know about rugby. There are reports on teams, players and future fixtures, as well as interviews from top players in both Rugby Union and Rugby League. There is a section where readers can send letters in to the editor, and these few pages are often well worth a read, as are most of the pages in the magazine. There is also a...

... not an expert on rugby magazines, and as far as I can guess there are other rugby mags in places like SA and NZ, but to this day I've only ever seen one rugby magazine: and that is, of course Rugby World. Are there any other rugby mags in the U.K.? If there aren't then maybe Rugby World knocked them all out or no-one's bothered beacuse they have such a firm hold on the market, I don't know. I'm not saying that Rugby World is a bad magazine, it's great. All the info you could ever need, from how the old timers are going to get on when they retire to the best U16's player. ... agree with other opinions which state that Rugby World is the only serious magazine for the rugby fan. I take it regularly through delivery from the newsagent. It has a lot of good qualities. Good pictures and overall print and presentation quality. There is plenty in it with some good articles. However, I think it used to be better before it changed its format. I would like to see more of a focus on British rugby and less on southern hemisphere games. Better coverage of the lower divisions would not go amiss; there is a section for each geography but it is too little and lumps all levels together. They do this mad thing which a lot of magazines do - I had the September...
