Having been a subscriber to Runner's World since 2006, I felt that it was time to write a review on the magazine. It's published monthly, although the time that it takes to get pushed through my letterbox varies, probably due to the amount of subscribers it has varying. The magazine itself is very diverse, with new product reviews and trials, recipes, letters and some individual stories about people involved in the world of running. ~The Stories~ These are very interesting; indeed these stories are the ones that I turn to as soon as I open the magazine and they can be as diverse as a story about a woman who's ran around the world alone, ... Runners World is an easily accessible, entertaining and informative look at the world of running from all levels, from the beginner to the more serious club runner looking to win races rather than being happy not to come in last. The scope of the magazine is limited running, as the name would imply, but then you don't buy 4-4-2 or Angling Times if you are not interested in the sport. However it can get a bit obsessed ... What you might not realise, though, is that this is for runners of all abilities, male, female, fast or plodding, running for fitness, for fun, or just for the sake of it. Whilst the emphasis is on distance running, there is a wide range of running relate topics, from what to wear, to what to eat, and how to get yourself motivated when the rain is lashing down and the wind is colder than the inside of your freezer! Tips and ideas to vary your running and maintain your interest as well as suggested ... Read the complete review

As you can probably guess from the name this magazine will be of interest to runners. However, you don't need to be someone who runs 6 miles a day and has a marathon pb of around 3 hours to enjoy this magazine and find something of interest within its pages. The magazine is about 140 pages long. The first approx 50 pages is called Warm ups which contain advice and Q&As on training, beginners, food, human interest, local runs, mid and body, gear and a "what to do this month" diary. The main body has a variety of articles including interviews with famous runners, gear reviews, famous races, exercises to improves aspects of your running fitness ... Read the complete review
