Advantages: lots of interest for girls, will let them have their own make-up

Disadvantages: none

I have a 7 year old daughter who like most young girls, likes to keep up with the lastest trends !! so when this new "Sabrina's Secrets" (The fab new series for girls from Sabrina The Teenage Witch) magazine came out it was a must on her shopping list (well mine!).

There will be 16 issues in total and each issue will come with a free beauty or hair product that has it's own special place in the free beauty box.

~The first issue came with a free beauty box and a Silver Nail art pen. I expected the beauty box to be a cheap box that would break within a week..but it is very good, with a lift out tray and a fixed mirror on the lid.

~The second issue had a free Cherry Lip Gloss complete with instructions.

~The third issue some Butterfly hair clips and holder for the mags.

~The forth with some purple and silver eye shadow (one of each colour).

It states in the mag that all the free beauty products are supplied by either Avon, Body Shop, Boots, Claires Accessories, New Look and Superdrug..so they should all be good products.

The magazine is great too. Some of the topics covered are:

~Beauty Tips~
How to look after your hair, teeth and skin.
How to put on make-up the right way, plus how to take it off, plus fun makeovers.
Step-by-step hair ideas, from speedy school styles to party looks.

~Dance Class~
Step-by-step dance rountines. There is a new routine in every issue. (this is my daughters favourite part of the mag).

~Make It~
Give old clothes a fashion face-lift or make some cool accessories. There has been "funky t-shirts" to "a friendship band".

~Sabrina's Secret Diary~
Everything you ever wanted to know about Sabrina.

~Your Secret Diary~
So you can keep yor own diary, just like Sabrina.

~Fun Stuff~
There are crosswords, wordsearches, quizes and even a personalit
y quiz... plenty of things to keep them entertained.(for a while anyway!).

Each issue has something different in it, ie. how to make your own face mask or tasty treats to make with ice-cream.
All in all I would say that this is a great magazine for young girls, my daughter certainly looks forward to when it comes out.At £2.50 every fortnight it's not too expensive and if it keeps her away from your own more expensive make-up then its well worth every penny!

As you know, my daughters love this too! (By the way, you missed out a 'TO' in the title!)
