Evo ... am a long time subscriber to Evo magazine, which in my opinion is one of, if not the best performance car magazine out there are the moment. It is the natural sucessor to Performance Car magazine which in its day was without doubt the best motoring magazine available The editorial content is superb and the car photography simply stunning. The news section is always informative and the guys tend to get a lot of scoop news stories that other magazines seem to miss. The passion that the writers have shines through clearly in the very high standard of the road test reviews. Top Gear ... TV series Topgear gets alot of criticism for not talking about everyday cars but this is not entertainment. The magazine provides all the details you could possibly need with the six month road test where the journalists actually live with the car for six months. If a car you want is not featured in this section then there is a hge index featuring every available brand new car for that month. The index gives you the specifications for the cars and a brief rating fo the car. Top Gear ... read this magazine every month and I find it very useful when it comes to motor industry news and reviews. They have somehow taken the great TV concept and somehow translated that into a magazine of the same standard. It is a decent sized magazine and the cost is not to bad for the amount of information you get from the magazine. They always review and discuss the newest cars which manufactures has released or are due to release in the near future. Because of the highly successful TV show the top gear team have a lot of contacts in the industry and this allows them to get hold of a lot of highly sought after cars to test drive, a lot more than other magazines.
