Advantages: Great memories

Disadvantages: none

Do you remember shoot? It was such a great read when you were a kid. It had all of the pictures of the players, lots of write ups about clubs and teams but not a lot else. There was not really much in the way of match reports or scores. I dont know if this has now changed.
It was like a comic really, appealing to children rather than albums. I think it was run by the people that made football stickers because they would always give away 2 packs of stickers for your new album that you would then go and buy!
Clever marketing. Preying on Kids!
I do remember looking at the World cup '82 edition with a free poster for my wall that I still have. It was when the England kit had Red and Blue Shoulders. Do you remember this kit?
The magazine was full of pics and write ups of all the home teams such as Scotland Ireland and England. Kevin Keegans Perm was everywhere.
I hope thi magazine lives forever with my memories. It got me interested in football!

I do remember the dodgy kit Andy. Do you remember the packets of sweets which had the stickers inside?

The only shooting I remember as a kid involved me locking the bathroom door and a copy of News of the World. I think you know where I am coming from (excuse the pun!)
