Match Magazine ... magazine ia a lovely A4 sized glossy colour magazine that is published once a week for 51 weeks of the year, there is no issue on the christmas week. This magazine is aimed at the teenage market but is still a brilliant way of catching up on what has been happening in football for the last week. My little brother has this magazine every week and I must confess to still sneaking a read of it. The magazine is ram packed with colour pictures, photos, interviews with football players and managers, There are lots of quizzes and competitions to enter where you can win footy related stuff. Match Magazine ... magazine is the number one selling football magazine it the UK. I remember buying it every week when I was kid and sticking up the posters all around my bedroom. To my surprise I saw that that this magazine was still on the go these days as I saw it in my local newspaper shop. I saw it but at first did not recognise it due to the massive design change that I remembered as a child. The magazine is clearly aimed at a young audience probably about 12 year old boys but I still decided to buy it anyway just to see how it has changed. Boxing Monthly ... Monthly is a magazine I tend to pick up several times a year and a publication I ve enjoyed for a long time. The magazine was founded in 1989 and is the best British boxing magazine available. Boxing Monthly was the first British boxing magazine to go for the colourful, glossy look and feel of an American boxing magazine. The internet has made magazines less essential as a source of news but I ll usually pick up Boxing Monthly if there s a big fight coming up for the preview. It s also nice to build up some back issues and have a collection that spans different boxers and years. The magazine, though British, is unapologetic for its US centric content. The big fig...
