Advantages: Pro reviews, previews and news, in-depth details, Top 10 of everything, genre specific.
Disadvantages: Slightly expensive at £3.99 per issue per month, the Mrs. might not approve of the ladies in the mag
Firstly, dont be fooled by the bikini-clad model on the front of the magazine cover as you walked past it in the Supermarket. This isnt a 'boobs' mag. It isnt a Mens 'top-shelf' mag. This is a magazine dedicated to the world of Technology.
Although the female on the cover of the magazine will appear in a spread halfway through the magazine with an advertised product resting on her buxom or something, that will be all you will see of the females in the mag.
Now, what is actually in the mag of interest? Well, when I said technology, I meant it. Mobile Phones, Watches, TVs, CD Players, Cameras, the works. The latest issue was 113+ of Tecnological Goodness for the fellas, mainly. The magazine does have a few adverts thrown in, usually catering to the technological genre.
The reviews, previews and news is all factual truth. Nothing is rumor, nothing is not described as best it can be. Its all professional.
A gripe is that the prices usually appear as being 'TBA - To Be Announced' which can be quite annoying. However, given Stuff is the Worlds Best Selling Gadget Mag, as they proclaim on ever magazine, its clear that they are getting information on products before a Pricing structure has been made available.
Personal favourite of mine is the Top 10 of Everything near the back of the Magazine. Top 10 Cameras, Top 10 TVs, Top 10 Gaming... theres loads of stuff there, which gives a brief description and a price along with it.
All in all, this magazine has been a great read to me for years, now, and is full of handy information for you fellow Tech-geeks out there.
Summary: Great read and a handy companion to anyone who buys Tech stuff. 10/10
