Advantages: Good reviews, interesting content, hot girls

Disadvantages: Lack of content, expensive

First of all, don't judge a book by a cover, and by that this means the hot girl on the cover does not mean that this is another one of those adult magazines. This is for us boys and girls who loves technology and gadgets, while enjoying beautiful women alongside the pretty and hot gadgets. Stuff magazine is in fact giving us the best of both worlds. The paper quality of the magazine itself is excellent with bright and lively colors.

While the girls are of quality, the reviews, pictures and information inside the magazine are of even better quality. Every month of so, they have new features like the best gadgets of the decade for example, which are very enjoyable to read and tells you something which you've never thought of before. The reviews (around 5 a month) are also quite interesting and helpful as they do tell you a lot about the gadget, and gives honest opinions to the matter. Ratings are then given in several categories such as value, features and usability. I have once bought an mp3 player off a review from Stuff Magazine and have never regretted the purchase.

After the reviews, they then sum up their magazine with the Top 10 of gadget categories such as MP3 Players, Laptops, Smartphones, Mobile Phones etc. and within these categories, they have a short review of the top products. These chart tables are quite useful to know which gadgets are popular, and can easily help with gift purchasing for your loved ones.

However, I never had enough of the magazine once I've finished it, and I am not sure if it's just too good or too short to justify the £3.99 cover price (nearest Tesco/bookstores). I feel like I deserve more that what is being offered after reading the whole thing. It takes me only half an hour to finish it, and because of that, I prefer reading online blogs such as Engadget as they have more content than a monthly magazine.

Summary: Price does not justify the content; there are better free alternatives online.

I find the sexualisation of the magazine slightly irritating - as though only straight men like gadgets. Do they really need glamour models holding everything? I guess their research tells them it's a good move? :(
