Advantages: burns well, chip container

Disadvantages: no news, often lies, mob material

Whilst i know that a newspaper is but a mirror on society and that a broadsheet is not for everyone, surely if you are to slake the thirst of the masses you could try and be informative and responsible. The Mail used to be a good tabloid free from the nasty side that the News of the World courted. Now it's main aim seems to be readers at ALL costs. Sensational story after sensational story, cheap gimick and cheap stories. If i said that they would rather lead the paper with a bingo promotion rather than a news story then you get my drift. THIS IS A NATIONAL SCOTTISH PAPER for gods sake lets have a decent paper not some gaudy rag that says "my boss says we must get more readers and we will get them by hook or by crook" - THE PAPER IS MINCE, save your money and get the Herald, ST or the SOS.

Oh and the patronising "we are the people" socialism that leaks through the pages is nausiating.

Summary:
