Advantages: All about gadgets, very professional design, nice and thick, great guide at the end
Disadvantages: Attractive cover girl not featured throughout the magazine
I picked up T3 before a recent flight on Virgin Atlantic - they were giving them out for free at the gate, it had a pretty woman on the cover and so I picked one up thinking it'd pass the time on the flight.
Despite the pretty woman on the front (which seems to be a feature on the cover of every issue), the magazine is actually all about gadgets - MP3 players, laptops, games consoles, video cameras, still cameras etc. No more pictures of pretty women adorned the inside pages, although I suppose there are more specialist magazines if you want that sort of thing! ;)
The magazine itself is very well designed and made, obviously aimed at professional men in their 20s and 30s (who have money to spend on the latest gadgets). It has a thick shiny cover and a neatly designed layout which makes the articles very easy to read. It's also pretty thick at over 150 pages.
I found many of the articles pretty interesting - especially their feature about the future of technology and the possibility of an iPhone Nano. There's a massive guide at the back of the magazine that gives their recommendations of what product to buy in loads of different categories from MP3 players to TVs to games consoles.
I enjoyed reading T3, but I got a copy for free... I'm not sure if I'd pay £3.99 for it (the regular price)... unless there was a really attractive girl on the cover! ;)
Summary: Nice mag, not sure I'd pay £3.99 every month for it though
