Advantages: Quite cheap, lots of real life stories, good comps
Disadvantages: Can have some real trash in it
I have been reading Take A Break for about six months now, i don't drive so on my lunch break i have to sit in the kitchen at work and i like to read magazines to take my mind off what sometimes can be a stressful day!
Take A Break is always packed full of real life stories, i don't like to read celebrity magazines, i can find out what i want about them on the internet so TAB is the right magazine for me.
Some of the stories are quite sad about people dying, others are great pick you up tales to make you smile but there is also quite a lot of trash in the magazine too, they love writing about older women who go to Turkey, meet a young man who then rips them off, they even have a club for woman who have been affected.
They do have another club called chums4mums which i think is really good as it introduces you to other mums in your local area if you want to make friends or need support.
The magazine also has a problem page, a make up tips page, recipes and lots of competitions with some good prices.
The magazine is priced at 78p which i think is reasonable, i get a good hours read out of it and i think i will be buying it for many years.
Also on Ciao under the username lilmissmup
Summary: Not Will Shakespeare but good to lose yourself in.
