Advantages: It's crammed full of stories and competitions.

Disadvantages: There aren't any.

Take a Break is a magazine that is full of real life stories and competitions. There is a new copy available every Thursday and it now costs 78p.

Firstly I will tell you a bit about what's in the magazine:

Real life stories- People write in with there personal stories whether it's about there wedding, someone close to them dying or any other thing that has happened in there life. Some have happy endings others bring tears to my eyes.

Photos- People send in lot's of photos whether it's of there pets, there children, them in fancy dress or just a photo that they love.

The brainwaves Roadshow- Which is a page full of handy tips the tips vary for example some are on how to make furniture look new again by decorating them, ideas off reusing things and lots more.

Medical Advice- People write in with there medical problems and Dr Knott will give his medical opinion.

Liz Wilde's SOS (beauty sos) - There's lots of advice for people who have written in needing beauty tips or wanting to know where to find certain products etc.

Cookery- There is a couple pages with meals or food that you can make which includes the ingredients you will need and the directions on how to make it.

Fashion- Information and pictures of some great fashion buys with the prices and where to buy the clothes.

Travel- Details on great holiday getaways with prices and ideas on things to do there.

Katie Fraser's Take a buddy- Offers advice for people on basically anything who need a friend to talk to.

Dena's life stars- All your latest horoscopes readings.

Competitions- Throughout the magazine there are lots of puzzles for you to do like word searches, crosswords and many more which offer great prizes from money to holidays. You need to write your answers down on the answer sheet at the back next to the page numbers you then need to fax, call or post your answer sheet then if you win you will be notified.

The magazine is packed full of lots more things that I haven't had a chance to mention. For most of the articles and stories that you send in and that appear in the magazine you will be paid, for the price varies on which category they are in.

I love this magazine as it is crammed full of competitions and great stories. I regularly send off my answers for the competitions, I haven't won yet but I will carry on trying. Another reason that I love this magazine is there are lot's of little stories to read so you can read them between doing other things. It's great to take with you when you're travelling as there's so much to read. For 78p I think this magazine is definitely a bargain.

Summary: Overall I think this magazine is great and has some great stories in.
