I have only recently started buying Take a Break magazine.
I originally started buying them forthe competitions as I quite enjoy doing crosswords and other puzzles and I heard this was a great mgazine for them.

When I brought it though I found the stories in them so intriguing that I had to read them and suddenly I was hooked. They had such a range of real life stories which were both touching and horrifying, long and short but all very interesting. Take a break also has many other brilliant features including cookery tips and fashion tips, everything you need really in a magazine and all for 78p.

Launched in 1990 this magazine goes on sale every Thursday and sells these days at 78p. The target market is women aged 22-55. The magazine is becoming increasingly popular and sometimes is even a sell out when I go to buy it.

Take a break specials also come out 6 times a year, they are just bigger versions of take a break magazine with moestoriesand competitions and usually come out in summer, winter, autumn and spring.

Unfortunately I have never won on any of the competitions but I do enjoy them. The prizes are huge and usually add up to around £40,000 a week. You can enter these competitions either online or by post and telephone.

I really think that take a break is an all round magazine. Everyone loves a good competition and this is just the best I have found for them. Nobody can quibble at £30,000 - £40,000 of competitions a week and it really makes it worth buying. Its great that they pay for stories because it means you get some really interesting ones and its nice to 'take a break' from all the celebrity gossip and find something real life.

One last thing I want to say about this magazine is that it really supports some good charitys and this makes me want to buy it more. They support breast cancer charitys and many charity events etc.
