Advantages: lots of puzzles, good fashion, brilliant real life stories
Disadvantages: some useless pages such as sent in photographs
Take a Break comes out weekly and costs 72p.... a great price for a great magazine that can keep me amused for a few hours.
There are plenty of puzzles, crosswords, and competitions to do which are great fun...there are often 3 or more arrow words too which I love doing :)
This magazine hasmany real life stories...some which make you feel good and some that are heart breaking... they are definitely intriguing and worth a read. There are agony aunt pages which are answered by doctors.
There are a few beauty and fashion pages which are quite good... but this magazine focuses mainly on real life stories so it hasn't got tons on fashion.
This magazine, like most, has horoscopes which aren't really my cup of tea to be honest.
This magazine also has a variety of recipes...some of which i have tried out and found to be very nice and simple to do. There is also diet tips and ideas to follow.
Definitely worth a read...great value at 72p...ideal for breaks at work or on a journey somewhere as it doubles up as a puzzle book!
Summary: well worth 72p- ideal if you have time to kill
