Take a Break magazine is a weekly tabloid style magazine aimed at both sexes, published every Thursday. Priced at just 66 pence for 60 pages, I think it's good value for money. Especially considering that almost every week they have a car as one of the star prizes of their competitions.

We do the puzzels in TAB every week, and have done so for many, many years and in all thsi time we have only won one minor prize (value around £40) but your never know - you have to be in it to win it!

Take a Break seems to have more prize puzzles in than the other two magazines of it's ilk (Chat / That's Life) which makes it superior to start with. However, the articles within it's covers have a tabloid feel about them. "I forgive the man who killed my wife", "My bloke eloped over the garden fence" type of thing. Having said that though, there are lots of other good features, plenty to read with plenty of reader participation in the way of letters, tips etc. Also cookery, travel, health and beauty.

If you like doing puzzles, you'll love TAB, especially as the prizes are so good too.
