I will start by saying that I subscribe to Tatler magazine, and I absolutely love it! Here's why:

It is an irreverent look at a world I am not part of, and it's fun to read about the rich and (not so) famous. I especially love the "Tatler and Bystander" section at the back for spotting people (and sometimes even friends).

There used to be a "Debutante of the Month" but that has recently given way to humourous profiles of such celebrities as Pippa Middleton's dog!

The fashion pages are excellent, and whilst there will never be anything there I can afford I often cut out pictures to use as inspiration when I am shopping on the high street.

The interviews and articles are more serious than those contained in Cosmopolitan et al, they actually have something to say, and often political or moral issues are tackled.

In all, Tatler is an excellent and varied magazine.
