Where do I start in my attempt to let you all know that the world's worst newspaper is beyond doubt the Daily Record. Now I am the first to admit that right behind it are the Star and the Sun, another two useless rags.

The trouble with the Daily Record is that it tries to be a real newspaper but can't help itself from slipping into the classic red top way of doing things such as the half naked so called celebrities being of more interest than whatever real news stories are going on and the totally biased football pages taking over from any other sports that might be happening.

The Daily Sun and the Daily Star at least know what they are and therefore can be forgiven for the trash that fills their pages, The Daily Record should revert back to the days where it was just known as a red top and happy to be so because as red tops go the Record was as good as any of them but trying to be a real newspaper has for me made it a laughing stock.

The Record I speak of is the Scottish edition I have never read any other so can't make comment on them though I doubt they will be much different. The Daily Record goes on sale in Scotland for 30p and even that small amount of money is wasted on the purchase of this paper so take it from me if you want to read news and sensible stories then go for the Daily mail a much more balanced paper.

The final straw for me with the Record came when they removed the topless beauties from their page 3 trying to be more politically correct. It was the last thing they had going for them LOL!
