.net is a fantastic magazine for web designers and developers which is packed full of the latest news from the world wide web.

I've been a subscriber since I got my job in the industry and it really has taught me so much.

Regular features include:
- latest web news
- interviews with web professionals
- profiles of successful design agencies
- application/program reviews
- detailed tutorials

My favourite section by far is the tutorials that are in the magazine - these are really helpful and range from creating interactive maps in Flash to building custom CMSs with Django.

I also enjoy the 'site build off' section where they ask 3 designers to build a website along a certain theme - the results can be very varied and quite interesting.

.net also comes with a free CD every month which is packed with tutorial sort code, images, fonts, web design templates and free software!

It should be noted that this magazine is aimed at web professionals - not just general web surfers... some of the content can get quite technical and may be a bit much for some people.

Summary: If you're in the web industry, you really need to subscribe to this magazine
