Advantages: good quality paper

Disadvantages: a lot of stuff I just don't bother with. However, you can't get just the sports pages on their own.

If you have been to the footy on saturday (or even if you haven't) and you are looking for a good sports supplement to take to the bathroom (!!!) in the morning, then I find that this is good. You get a paper the size of a normal broadsheet on sunday, which is wholly devoted to sport, and about half of this is about football. It's great because it is half magazine half newspaper in style, with articles about players, managers, grounds, etc. as well as the match reports and more regular stories.

The pictures are only colour on the covers, but I find this not to be a problem, as B+W can often make pics look more dramatic... and the pictures are very good indeed as far as quality is concerned.

As for the rest of the paper, I'm not really sure, as I never really read the sunday broadsheets. It's all a bit heavy going really... and as far as the financial supplements, and Educational bits go... well! They're good for lighting the fire. Nothing against them or anything, just not my cup o tea!

I'm not sure what the price of the whole lot of Observer (there's a lot of it) is, cos I don't pay, but I don't think it's too bad.
