Advantages: a wide variety of news and features

Disadvantages: too much sport for me

The Sun is one of the most popular tabloid newspapers in the UK. I never really used to read it but my parents always bought it and i got into the habit of reading it and now i buy it myself to read. It may not offer the intellect that Broadsheet papers do, but it does offer a lot of news and does so for a reasonable price of 30p.
Theres the obvious page three that everyone loves, well most men anyway, but there are also many other aspects to this paper.
My favourites are the Dear Deidre's problem pages. I think she handles the problems in a sensitive manner and they are very interesting to read. There are pages devoted to all the latest music (Bizzare Pages) and also to all the latest news and gossip from the world of tv.
For sports lovers there are pages of sports news, which for me i never read; and it offers up alot of interesting news pieces from around the world.
There are also puzzles and crosswords to do which o really enjoy.
Overall i think the Sun is a good newspaper. It offers a wide variety of news sections and tv listings and horoscopes which will appeal to all people. It is also good for catching up on all the latest news and gossip.
