I am a keen golfer. I play off a handicap of 5. I have been buying golf mags for a couple of years. When I was learning the game I used to buy Todays golfer every month. I found it very useful because it allows the high handicaper to have some insight into how to get started in the game.

They alway have an article that tells you to hit it further - the object of every high handicapper. I think this is a good technique because the majority of golfers are rabbits, but they seldom offer anything for the lower handicaper.

I think if they wanted a well rounded mag they should keep some of their articles, but they should maybe put in article more relevant to the better player. Why not introduce a clinic for the better player.

If they did this they would take an average mag and make it into an Excellent mag.
