... Planet magazine is an offshoot from the travel guides. At a price of £1 for the first six episodes I thought there was no problem in signing up just to see what it was like. I was wrong. Scottish Islands Explorer Magazine ... you a lover of wild and remote places or do you dream of one day of escaping to somewhere quiet and serene? -well if so I have the magazine which will take you there from your armchair. I have a passion for The Scottish islands and have visited most of them and was delighted when I saw an advert for a magazine totally devoted to them. It was the year 2000 and the first issues were being launched from Fair Isle by Linda Grieve and Philip Welch. These were initially in black and white and were little more than a few pages of news and stories. At this early stage there were 50 subscribers. The Sunday Times Travel ... have been reading the Sunday Times Travel magazine for a few months now and thought I would share my views on this brilliant travel magazine as it really is quite good! I first bought it because I was already buying Conde Nast and saw this and thought I ll see if it s as good - unfortunately for me it is, which means I end up spending an awful lot of money on all my travel magazines now! However I do think it is worth it for those who love their travel and so this is my opinion on the magazine. What type of magazine is it? Living France ... on holiday to France and would like to live there? Or do you just like all things French? If so then the magazine, Living France, could be very useful and interesting to you. Published monthly the magazine is available at all major newsagents and costs 3.99 a copy. This is reduced if you subscribe and there are often special offers on with subscriptions. For example, last year when I took out my subscription there was a free book called The French Property Buyer s Handbook.
