      As Above

I have been a Metal Detectorist for nearly 30 years, after first being introduced to the hobby as a youngster. Over the years there has been a few different Metal Detecting related magazines aimed at our hobby and Treasurehunting is one of them. They also have a website called Treasurehunting.co.uk. The magazine is extremely good reading. Usually about 100 pages thick and has a number of regular features. These include Readers Letters News and Views Far and Wide Field Tests Tell us your Story Next Month Book Reviews Questions and Answers. The magazine also has special features, which include hoard finds or very unusual (or unique) finds. It also looks at how to research sites etc. The magazine is stacked with adverts, but funny enough I actually enjoy reading them. It tends to keep you upto date on all the latest machines etc The magazine can be bought at most major bookshops including WHSMITH and Borders, or you can buy 12 monthly issues for £36 from their website. This magazine is certainly worth paying a few pounds a month to read. It is like the Metal Detectorist's bible, and is always one of the first to break news on exciting finds.
