Advantages: clearly layed out TV listings for the whole week
Disadvantages: none
TV Quick is a weekly TV listings magazine. It is widely available in most newsagents and supermarkets. At a little over 60p, it's great value for money. I used to make a point of buying a newspaper everyday, but found that I was really only getting as far as the TV pages, with a quick glance at the headlines. This seemed to me to be a waiste of money, so I decided to start buying a listings mag. I chose a different one each week, until I settled for one I liked. That one was TV Quick. Listings are easy to follow. Each channel is clearly marked out. It has a comprehensive guide for satelite channels as well as the original fab five. Soap updates are given at the front end of the mag, incase anyone has missed out on an eppisode of their particular addiction, and there is also a review of each soap's events to be shown over the next 7 days. As well as the TV listings, the thing that really got me buying it regularly was the readers' true stories segment. Because I spend so much time reading coarse material for university, I enjoyed the notion of reading these consise stories about sometimes strange events happening to regular Joes. It's a very entertaing way of finding out what's on the box.

- 28/06/01 sh*t, just realised that I forgot to put the o. in front of the 65 in entered in the price section. Please forgive, I'm just a new girl! |

- 27/06/01 Interesting price, I hope you didn't really pay 65 pounds for it :) I tend to rely on the free TV guides you get in Sunday papers myself, but they aren't as good but cheaper (especially if you don't buy the paper yourself :) |
